Bon Iver – Towers (Karma Kid Re-dub)

15 05 2013

Huge apologies ArtChive followers for my lack of recent posts – I would say I’ve been busy but I’d be lying terribly. Anyhow, to recommence the chivy proceedings, here’s a deliciously mellow number with an electronic dressing and a side order of bass. Enjoy your meal.

The Shins – New Slang

6 03 2013

I find The Shins rather hit and miss, but when they hit it feels like a Mike Tyson right hook to the crotch (in a good way). New Slang has a wonderfully ethereal quality and gained popularity from becoming the soundtrack of Garden State – a film written, directed and starred in by Zach Braff (JD from Scrubs).  Here’s the link (remember to click on putlocker) http://www.1channel.ch/watch-2100-Garden-State

Here’s some other songs by The Shins I recommend: Pink Bullets, Caring is Creepy, The Past and Pending, Sleeping Lessons.
